Step 1: Introductory Email and Welcome Package
Once you have signed up, we will immediately e-mail you information on your account including your online access, which is available to you 24 hours a day, and a check list of items we require in order for us to get started right away. We then follow-up with a detailed Welcome Package by mail that will give you useful information on what to expect and how to get the most out of your membership.
Step 2: We begin to work on your Account
Within 2-3 business days of receiving your credit report we will complete the most important step in the process which is reviewing your credit report and beginning the dispute process. You will receive an email notification letting you know your online account has been updated and is available for your review. Our interactive system allows you to provide your comments on each negative item contained on your credit report further allowing us to accurately and efficiently work on your behalf.
Step 3:The Credit Bureaus respond to you
Once we have filed your disputes, the response from the credit bureau or creditor will be mailed directly to you. The law states that agencies have a reasonable amount of time, usually 30 days, to respond to a dispute. We require you to forward that information to us by fax (toll free 1-800-957-1280) or by mail to American Credit Center, 525 Wilbur Street, Brandon, FL 33511.
The more information we have, the more efficient the credit repair process will be. Any statements, credit bureau responses, or reports you receive contain valuable information that we can utilize during the restoration process. We will use the information you forward to continue with the dispute process with the credit bureaus. You will always be notified via e-mail when any action is taken on your file.
